Lefse Lovers, Lutefisk Laughter Location

Before we start, for the Norwegianly challenged-
Lutefisk is dried cod that has been soaked in a lye solution to rehydrate it. It is boiled or baked and served with butter and salt and pepper. The finished lutefisk usually has the consistancy of Jello. So, imagine a hot, fish flavored Jello and you can understand why Norwegians love it so much. It is traditionly served in the U.S. for Thanksgiving and Christmas and avoided the rest of the year.

Top 10 ways to get KIDS to EAT Lutefisk
10. "Open the tunnel...Here comes the train!"
9. Have them hold their noses.
8. "It's Jello. You like Jello..."
7. Tell them "It'll put hair on your chest!"
6. Eat some yourself, smile and say "Yum!"
5. "You can't open presents (have dessert) until your plate is clean."
4. Threaten to tell "When I was a kid" stories.
3. "I think I just saw Santa peek in the window..."
2. "I'll give you $5 if you eat it. How 'bout $10?... $20?"

And the number one way to get KIDS to EAT Lutefisk...
1. Tell them, "Lutefisk makes you SMARTER!" (This only works once because they're smarter next time.)
